"In a timely coincidence, my latest body of work and book project titled "Critical Distance - a perpetual absence of home" had made its gallery début in my former 'home' town of Erfurt (Germany) in September. Although this particular solo show closed two weeks ago, the work is already en-route to Radolfzell/Bodensee (Germany) now where it will be displayed at Galerie Vayhinger alongside the two iconic German expressionists Otto Dix and Erich Heckel in an exhibition that explores 'Heimat' (homeland) and/or its absence. My conceptual, text-centric images often seem a bit too square for their times, but perhaps here and now they will find a more open and critical forum."
